Darryl Howerton

Fresno native Darryl Howerton is a writer who has been a regular contributor for Hoop, The Source, ESPN The Magazine, ESPN Books and ESPN.com, along with dozens of other publications in his two-plus decades since graduating from Fresno State in 1988. Darryl was also the senior writer for Sport magazine throughout the 1990’s and worked for several newspapers in the late ’80s and early ’90s as well (Whittier Daily News, Antelope Valley Press, Merced Sun-Star). He is also the founding editor of the blog www.fresnobeach.com.
